The sponsors, and the promoter, who I do not work for, and who do not support this operation whatsoever, complained that my posting of their event did not mention their hotel and motel sponsors, and they insisted that I do. Bikers USA very rarely receives even a dollar of support from motorcycle event promoters or motorcycle dealerships. The promotion of their event had been a free service to the motorcycling community who might be interested in knowing about the motorcycle rally. My response was to completely remove all mention of the motorcycle rally! hotelmapsusa.com and Bikers USA Travel helps to defray operating costs of bikersusa.com and bikersmag.com by sponsoring event postings which otherwise receive no support. With no sponsorship, Bikers USA would not be able to continue posting many charitable events for free. Bikers USA asks for, but very rarely receives, support from successful commercial enterprises to help keep the sites operational. The implementation of Hotel Maps USA and Bikers USA Travel is an attempt to make up for this extreme lack of support. If anyone wishes to sponsor a commercial event posting to agreed upon specifications they may. Prices for commercial event postings start as low as $50 per month. If you don’t support Bikers USA, you have no reason to complain about whatever free promotions you are given. Next time you cheap event promoters run an event which charges vendors $100 for setting up a table, and charges $30 admission to hundreds or thousands of bikers, or gets hundreds of motorcycle enthusiasts to your motorcycle dealership, please consider supporting the continued operation of Bikers USA! |
