| | | For 40 years, bikers have complained about their helmets, but as of Halloween, 2007, there were only 20 official complaints going back to 1995 on file at the NHTSA. There are 500,000 helmets recalled and most are probably on our heads! Tell NHTSA to force helmet makers to make helmets they are willing to stand behind and are rated for 70 mph. If they made a better product, the government would not have to force people to wear these torture devices.

Ride-In For Breast Cancer Awareness
Riders from across Maryland and Delaware and other areas will come together to ride for Breast Cancer Awareness on September 30th, 2006 to the Federalsburg VFW in Federalsburg, Maryland from 12 noon until 8 P.M. Ride from your areas to meet up with other bikers at one of many designated meeting places near you and ride as a group or alone to the Federalsburg VFW in Maryland. "Bike Show, "New Biker Games", and "Tug Of War Competition", and Tattoo Contests with prizes and trophies for all. Everyone over 21 is invited to participate and compete in these events. Many vendors, food and drink will be available as well as a silent auction and door prizes. There will be live music all day. All riders and walk/drive-ins will be welcomed! You do not have to ride-in with a group. Admission is $10 per person at the gate. Bike Show Entry Fee: $10 per bike. Don't miss a chance to make a difference!

VFW Riders POW/MIA Remembrance Day Run
Starting at Dover AFB AMC Museum. Sign up from 9:00am until 11:00am. There will one-event tee shirts per registration given out while they last. The ride will be escorted by the Milford City Police Dept through scenic Kent County De. The Run will end at the Milford VFW Post 6483 for a POW/MIA Ceremony along with food and refreshments. All profits from the run will benefit POW/MIA programs. |
