| | | In the past, issuing a NATIONAL CALL TO ACTION, would have resulted in hundreds, thousands, or tens of thousands of calls or emails to legislators. Why were there only about 30 who still respond? Are they leaving it up to others? |

| | | | | For 40 years, bikers have complained about their helmets, but as of Halloween, 2007, there were only 20 official complaints going back to 1995 on file at the NHTSA. There are 500,000 helmets recalled and most are probably on our heads! Tell NHTSA to force helmet makers to make helmets they are willing to stand behind and are rated for 70 mph. If they made a better product, the government would not have to force people to wear these torture devices.

Update: Within the first 48 hours of the Halloween 2007 Campaign, the number of official helmet complaints on file doubled compared to the last 12 years! Please tell all bikers they should be making their helmet complaints official. It’s easy!

3rd Annual Food Fest
Pierre Part Fire & Rescue will hold their on October 15, 2006. Activities start at 11AM to 5PM with over 33 different Cajun dishes to choose from. The festival will be held at the St. Joseph Church Hall at 3302 Highway 70 in Pierre Part. Great swamp scenes with two lane highways for a great ride. Come out and enjoy Cajun hospitality at it's finest.
