| | | For 40 years, bikers have complained about their helmets, but as of Halloween, 2007, there were only 20 official complaints going back to 1995 on file at the NHTSA. There are 500,000 helmets recalled and most are probably on our heads! Tell NHTSA to force helmet makers to make helmets they are willing to stand behind and are rated for 70 mph. If they made a better product, the government would not have to force people to wear these torture devices.

Crossroads Bikes and Blues motorcycle festival combines the hot metal of a rumbling ride with the quaint charm of an old blues town. It's the crossroads of different cultures, and it's a festival you don't want to miss. The rally will be held at the Coahoma County Expo building in Clarksdale, Mississippi home of the delta blues. All bikers are welcome to our family oriented event. We will be providing games, a bike show, and a dice run. We will have live bands playing most of the afternoon and night. Registration will begin at 8 am at the expo center on friday the 31st. Saturday march the 1st we will open registration at 8 am. Please go to our website for updates on our music lineup, dice run and bike show times. Directions to our rally are also available on our website thru mapquest. Camping pads with hookups for electric, water, and sewer are available. We also have primitive camping spaces with showers available.

Wing Dang Doodle Festival
The third annual Wing Dang Doodle Festival will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sept. 23, 2006, at Gaddis Park in Forest. The Wing Dang Doodle Festival is a celebration of two very important things to the people of the Forest and the surrounding communities - chicken and blues music. The Wing Dang Doodle Festival will feature a chicken wing cook off, arts and crafts, talent show, car and motorcycle show, live entertainment, demonstrating artists, dog show, pet parade, rock climbing wall and children's activities.
