Stop the desecration of our sacred prayer mountain. Boycott all bars/campgrounds east of Sturgis near Bear Butte, such as Broken Spoke/County Line Campground, Free Spirits (formerly Lone Star)Campground, Full Throttle Saloon, Buffalo Chip, Dragpipe Saloon, Glencoe Campground and others. “Free Spirits Campground” is literally at the base of Bear Butte and was just granted a liquor license! | | | South Dakota Vietnam War Memorial Dedication

South Dakota is finally welcoming home its’ veterans of the Vietnam War. With a flurry of terrific events including concerts at Hyde Park, by the Beach Boys, Creedence Clearwater Revisited and South Dakota’s own band from the 70’s, the Red Willow Band, are dedicating the SD Vietnam War Memorial. Other event activities will include a display of the Moving Wall, many other displays, event vendors, a muscle car show, a huge parade led by Vietnam Vet bikers (register for the parade at their web site), with a formation of Huey helicopters directly above them, and flyovers by B52, F16, and Mohawk (recon plane). The SD State Parks have opened up reservations early to Vietnam Vets only and they are already half full, and they open up to the general public May 1, 2006. You are encouraged to make hotel, motel and campground arrangements early. |

Registration runs from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at J & L Harley-Davidson, 2601 W 60th St. N., Sioux Falls, SD.
$15 per poker hand. Cash prizes awarded to the top hands. Silent auction items will also be available. Stops include the Baltic Lounge, Steve's Bar & Grill in Trent, The Royal River Casino in Flandreau and The D & D Bar in Brandon. There will be free food at the final stop at Skelly's Pub in downtown Sioux Falls.
Proceeds will be used to assist individuals with disabilities in southeast South Dakota.
