Important Update Message about Torches Across America:12/20/06 ..... I need to tell you about a couple of changes in the ride. I just had everything confirmed Monday evening. The ride is now going to start on Saturday, September 1st not Sunday, September 2nd. We are adding an extra day because I am bringing the ride into my hometown area (Branson, MO) for the evening of Wednesday, September 5, 2007. We have six cities in my hometown area that have passed a resolution making 9/11 a "Recognition Day" for their cities First Call Responders and being as proud of them as I am, I want to show them off. Also the Bart Rockett theater is going to be dedicating three to four different shows to the areas First Call Responders and Armed Forces members starting when we arrive in Branson on the afternoon of Wednesday September 5, 2007. Bart Rockett earlier this year dedicated a show to our areas First Call Responders and when I ask if he would do it again he said yes. But not only is Bart Rockett going to be dedicating his show at 5:00pm, the Branson Brothers will be dedicating their 8:00pm show and the Motown Experience will be dedicating their morning show Thursday, September 6, 2007 also. At this time I am working with others in Branson, MO to see if we can get more theaters and business to invite all America's First Call Responders to Branson so we can show them how proud we are of them.
