| | | | For 40 years, bikers have complained about their helmets, but as of Halloween, 2007, there were only 20 official complaints going back to 1995 on file at the NHTSA. There are 500,000 helmets recalled and most are probably on our heads! Tell NHTSA to force helmet makers to make helmets they are willing to stand behind and are rated for 70 mph. If they made a better product, the government would not have to force people to wear these torture devices.

On your way back from Myrtle Beach Bike Week, enjoy a freedom ride in protest of mandatory motorcycle helmet laws! Of course, you CAN wear a helmet if you like! This ride is not organized, sponsored, or supported by anyone except other bikers.
PLEASE - It is absolutely crucial that you ride sober, responsibly, and safely.
Suggested Minimum Age: 21,
Suggested minimum riding experience: 3 years.
Begin lining up at 10am. Ride briefing at 10:45. Kickstands up at 11am.
Be advised that there are mandatory helmet laws in most of the states north of South Carolina, and there is a high likelihood of being pulled over and ticketed.
