I did not realize it, but this page has been alive and kicking since the days when the US and Coalition Troops first started to pursuit the Taliban in Afghanistan. I did not realize the page was still out there. I thought that it had vanished when I moved, lost my internet connection, and revamped the server. Despite all this, and despite terrible neglect, somehow this page continued to survive. It is as if it were magical and meant to be. Not only did it survive, but it flourished, and appears to have become the number 1 site whenever anyone is searching for information about Toy Runs in the world.
At first, when I realized the site is still intact, but badly outdated, I contemplated destroying it. Then, I took it as a sign. How can such a neglected web site have survived three years of neglect? It’s magic, is the only answer I came up with.
I will never forget what the terrorists did on 9/11. I will never forget the last words, “Let’s Roll”, from Todd Beamer on Flight 93, and I will never stop supporting American troops. I assume people from other countries feel the same as I do, and they should also continue to support their deployed troops.
The fact that this site has survived neglect, and actually flourished, is a sign that people still remember the children of deployed troops. They want to support needy children with their toy runs. Please do not forget, there are still children of deployed troops from countries all over the world. These kids still need to be remembered. They still need our support.
Since our troops first left for Afghanistan, we have heard many tales of bravery and loyalty. Still, Usama bin Laden is not captured. It is not the fault of the American troops. Supposedly, they were called off in order to let other troops get the capture.
Al-Qaeda and other Islamic terrorist groups continue to kill innocents. This brings shame that will last forever to all of Islam. bin Laden is to Islam as Hitler was to Nazism. Islamic people themselves really must round up the evil that surrounds you and cast it off. I don’t know how you are going to do it, especially when you fight against those who try to help you.
We have also heard of treachery, deceit, cowardice, and continued terrorist attacks. While some countries remain faithful to the coalition, there have been other countries bowing to the demands of the terrorists. That does not work.
